Daniëlle Pachen studied at the technical school for chemistry in Heerlen, and she is specialised in analytical an instrumental techniques. From 1991 she has been working at the department of Health Risk Analysis and Toxicology. She has been working on the development of determination of oxidative DNA damage with HPLC-Electrochemical detection and after that she was occupied with the determination of nitrosamines and aminobiphenyls
