I was born in Salvador, Brazil in January 99. After concluding high school, I moved to the Netherlands in 2018 to follow a bachelor program at the HZ University of Applied Sciences. There, I had recently concluded my bachelor`s degree in Chemistry, specialized in Life Sciences. During graduation internship at Maastricht University - PHARTOX, I had worked with analysing the genome instability in hypertensive and obese rats, where the detection of DNA repair activity was measured by means of the COMET technique and further confirmed through qPCR analysis.

Currently, I am working in the department as a Research Assistant with focus on genotoxicity studies.
