My research focuses on exploring anti-parasitic potential and genotoxicity profiling of natural compounds and their novel derivatives. Our target organisms include Toxoplasma gondii and Leishmania major while we use techniques like cell culture, cytotoxicity assays, genotoxicity assays and preparation of natural extracts. Our collaborators are researchers having expertise in purification of compounds, preparation of derivatives and computational studies for drug design, drug toxicity and potential target identification. We are always open to extend our collaboration to further use high end techniques in unraveling the mechanism of action of our hit, lead and candidate compounds.
