Lara receives poster award

Poster award at Inhaled Particles and International Particle Toxicology Conference

Lara Boßmann (IUF) received a poster prize at the Inhaled Particles and International Particle Toxicology Conference, held from 11 to 14 May 2026 in Glasgow, UK. Lara presented the award-winning poster, “Inflammatory effects of Saharan dust in co-cultures: the role of microbial constituents.”

The research presented in the poster was a collaborative effort between IUF*, the DSMZ (Braunschweig)° and PHARTOX^, involving Lara Boßmann*, Gerrit Bredeck*, Angela Kämpfer*, Isabelle Masson*, Anastasiya Mircheva^, Martinique Frentrup°, Ulrich Nübel°, Tina Wahle* and Roel Schins^*.
