Daniëlle Pachen studied at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and she is specialised in analytical an instrumental techniques. From 1991 she has been working at the department of Health Risk Analysis and Toxicology.
She has been working on the development of determination of oxidative DNA damage with HPLC-Electrochemical detection.
Later she did DNA, RNA and comet work. Since several years she’s occupied with the measurement and determination of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) in exhaled breath with Thermal Desorption (TD) in combination with Gaschromatography- Mass-Spectrometry (GC-MS) studies. In new studies VOC’s measurements in all kind of media are upcoming with TD-GC in combination with Orbitrap.
