Read about the publications our colleagues contributed to in Q4 of 2025

In the last quarter of 2025, our department published ten scientific publications that highlight our expertise in inhalation toxicology, genetic toxicology, food toxicology, and advanced data analysis. These studies reflect the breadth of our research and the different subsections within pharmacology and toxicology.

Our work on inhalation toxicology investigated relevant cellular and molecular responses after exposures to air pollution and new tobacco products, providing new insights into respiratory health risks. In genetic toxicology, we advanced the understanding of DNA damage, repair mechanisms, and mutagenic effects, further elucidating key genotoxic pathways. Complementing this, our food toxicology research examined the safety and potential health impacts of dietary compounds and contaminants, contributing to evidence-based evaluations of nutritional risks. We also published on the efficacy of avoiding hospital drugs ending up in the sewage water, to save the environment  Across these areas, we applied sophisticated statistical and bioinformatics methods to interpret high- data, leading to more comprehensive insights into complex biological responses.

These publications collectively demonstrate our department’s commitment to multidisciplinary research to better understand and mitigate risks to human health.
