Ming Zhang was born on December 23rd 1988 in Henan Province, China. In September 2007, she started the Bachelor study Food Science and Engineering at Henan University of Technology. In In September 2011, she began her master study in Food Engineering at Hainan University. She finished her master program "Studies on the changing rule of bioactive components, aromatic components and drying characteristics of Areca Inflorescence". In October 2015, she started as a PhD-student at Department of Toxicology, Maastricht University with the project entitled "The prediction and prevention of adverse effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine in western population".
